In time for Halloween-How Tablets Are Like Vampires

Wednesday, October 12 2011

AdAge.com - New data from Google shows a dramatic spike in tablet use during the evening. While not entirely surprising, it supports the theory that people break out their iPads etc. while sitting on the couch after work -- often while watching TV. Operation Desert Rain Storm

Monday, October 03 2011

Here in the Southwest, it doesn't rain often.  But, when it does - watch out!  Took this video with an HTC Android cell phone - about a minute or so of a 20 minute rainstorm that came and went.  A half-hour before, the sun was shining through the windows of Proof's offices.

Las Vegans, like us, aren't known for our driving-in-the-rain skill - should be an interesting commute home tonight for all of us.

Congressional Twitter volume down

Friday, June 10 2011

weinergate-effect.jpgCourtesy of Mashable, a report detailing the volume of Tweets from Members of Congress indicates the volume has decreased significantly in the wake of the coverage of Rep. Anthony Weiner's Twitter scandal.  Interesting Stuff.

TweetCongress, a site aggregating tweets from members of Congress, looked at the Twitter activities of Democrats and Republicans from May 9 to June 8, with weekends excluded, and found that tweets from members of both parties are down roughly 30% since Weiner’s lewd photo.
