Wednesday, October 12 2011
AdAge.com - New data from Google shows a dramatic spike in tablet use during the evening. While not entirely surprising, it supports the theory that people break out their iPads etc. while sitting on the couch after work -- often while watching TV. Courtesy of Mashable, a report detailing the volume of Tweets from Members of Congress indicates the volume has decreased significantly in the wake of the coverage of Rep. Anthony Weiner's Twitter scandal. Interesting Stuff.
TweetCongress, a site aggregating tweets from members of Congress, looked at the Twitter activities of Democrats and Republicans from May 9 to June 8, with weekends excluded, and found that tweets from members of both parties are down roughly 30% since Weiner’s lewd photo.
